Rally against HB1 & SB88 attendees
One of our most significant efforts was the rally held at the Ohio Statehouse on June 24. Despite only having two weeks to organize and facing scorching 100+ degree heat on a Tuesday morning, over 300 passionate community members attended. Around 100 of them traveled from outside Columbus, with participants coming from cities like Cincinnati, Toledo, Cleveland, and Dayton.
The event also featured several notable speakers, including Haipei Xue (United Chinese Americans President), State Rep. Cecil Thomas (Ranking Member of Public Safety Committee), and key leaders from partner organizations.
